The evolution of interfaces is intrinsic to many physical processes ranging from cavitation in fluids recrystallization solids. This work explicitly compares recently-developed discrete multiphase several classical problems relating materials: shrinking spherical grain, steady-state triple junction dihedral angle, quadruple point angle.
